Ottawa Dance Directive (ODD) is a non-profit centre for professional dance in Ottawa. They provide a platform for resident artists to showcase new works and works-in-progress and foster innovation in contemporary dance.
The fundraiser is a multi-disciplinary event combining dance performances and art exhibition and sale to raise funds for the upcoming season and to attract a broader audience base for current and future programming. Food and drinks will also be served. By leveraging the buzz of art events, the event draws a larger audience and becomes a more engaging, interactive experience for attendees. It also provides a free platform for local artists to showcase their work.

The event name is SHIFT — as in shifting perspectives and feelings/moods. The tagline is See. Sip. Shift.

Design Concept
The design has an edgy contemporary look and feel reflective of the innovative spirit of the company. The use of bold geometric shapes and asymmetric layout add tension and edginess. The overlapping typography of "SHIFT" is a visual representation of shifting or moving. The purple color matches the often reflective tone of contemporary dance while the unexpected combination with green adds a fresh contemporary twist.
